    Quality > quantity.

I will remind everyone of UT2003 which Epic don't recognise as a game.

As many games as there are out at the moment I am only interested in a few of them.
What I dont understand is how can there be loads of games on the UT3 engine out already and the game that the engine takes its name from isnt completed. I would of thought Bioshock( i think that was the unreal3 engine) was more complecated than UT3. Since the design of UT has been around for years, the concept of the game has been around for years and the programmers of the game did the engine too.

I am happy to wait as long as the developers are as honest as they can be with whats going on with the game.

My head agrees, but my heart still says…

    <Vader>NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO</Vader>
That's a pity, I've loved every iteration of UT so far. :)

i would much prefer they spend an extra couple of months getting it right and release almost no patches after release. that way i won't become disheartened the first time it crashes on me

A delay is better than a buggy game. But NEITHER is ideal. I'd much rather game developers be able to either A. Hit their deadlines or B. Learn how to properly estimate how long it takes to make a game.

Imagine if the car companies said "The 2008 Honda Civic has slipped a year, it will be released in 2009 ..." :eeek:

We got enough mileage from the current crop of titles to entertain us till this puppy turns up. Take all the time you need. Like a fine wine....sometimes the wait is worth it;)

Bummer. But it's ok, I prefer a polished well made game over something I have to install a giant patch right for after install.
