Sadly my Venus didn't survive the repotting, it has until the end of the month to show some signs of life before biting the bin.
Plants support themselves by getting loads of water into their cells to make them "turgid" (=hard). That's why they wilt when they don't have enough water. My biology teacher explained this, then said "I like to think of it as an errecting penis." The whole class was like except one guy who quipped, "Do you think about that a lot?" Made me LOL anyway! ch424
lmao That thing is massive!! I'm surprised it has manged to keep itself up so long, it looks pretty thin so I'd have expected it to break before it got that big!!!
Lol Yeah its supporting itself which makes it look even weirder as it looks like a real life fake. Makes people laugh, then they get confused about it like wtf is that?
I'm actually getting slightly worried about that thing... I'm with whoever said its mutating. What EXACTLY have you been feeding it?
My theory is that some random fly had been buzzing round some nuclear waste and got infected. Then, your fly trap ate said fly, and then the fly trap got infected.
LoL! In the beginning it looked 'ok' though. Made sense that it goes higher for its flower. But now... thats just huge! Its pretty freaky! What a weird plant. L
