hello. i am not exactly sure whats up with my laptop. i have an alienware m5750 with vista home premium upgrade (clean install). Vista keeps blue screening randomly. It says something like "a process or thread has causes the machine to halt" or something along those lines. and then makes the usual memory dumps. this is about as much information that i have atm. so that being said do you think its:
    A. virus
    B. Windows Vista being typically windows
    C. Other?

at this rate ima consider moving to Linux fulltime

I've been using Vista for a long time and then only time it ever BSODs is when:
    a) Shite drivers
    b) I've overclocked it too far

I'd check the drivers if you can (go into safe mode).

Easily possible, since Daemon tools installs it's own driver.
I've not had any trouble with it, but it can't do any damage to remove it and try.

I'm running Daemon tools on Vista Business. Works fine.

I was get loads of BSODs because I had overclocked. XP was fine with it, but Vista wasn't
