Modding where to buy a g1/4"bspp tap??

    hey people just a quick question where in the uk(preferably online) can i get a g1/4" bspp tap??

    Here you go, 1/4" BSP Tap. BSP = BSPP BTW, the correct hole size is 11.8mm if you didn't already know.

    ahhh was wondering if bsp was bspp thanks and the size no i didnt knwo that awesome cheers!

    That's a through-hole tap btw. If you need a blind-hole tap it has the cutting edges in a spiral configuration.

    huh? i need it for tapping holes in tubing that i will be using for some reservoirs im making. if you can point me in the right direction for the kind of tap/tap wrench i need for this that would be great.

    a through tap, the one in the link, is the kind you need.

    awesome thankyou! just to make sure it wont be going all the way through the tubing so will it still be a through tap that i need?

    Oh sorry about that. I should have stopped to think. You definately need a through-hole tap as you want to make holes in a reservoir wall etc. and not thread a hole in solid material.

    They're actually pretty hard to find in europe despite obviously being a british standard. Anyway have fun making the res', can't wait to see the result.
