Case is now covered with dust, it was nearly month in garage so it should be more shinyer when finished.

i thought i have to decide if my stainless should be brushed or ploished, but you gave me with your pics the final decision.

 

Don't bother making a new part. As soon as it's finished, you will find the old one.
Grinder burns suck. They take forever to heal.

 

You're right, that's what usually happens when you have lost something.

Actually it slipped twice

Two things in one picture. I did three this kind of led stripes to be attached around the case to lit up some hot spots:



And you can see that, i really are little too careless with power tools sometimes. "Turvaton kyhertäjä" indeed, i would say in Finnish.

Those led stripes are made using recycled materials like nearly everything in this case.
Case has cost $200 so far inc. fans and coolers (without components), so it would be weird to spend 50€ for sleeving kit, allthought all wires will be hided.

 

Ouch... those look pretty painful. So are we going to see this at Assembly?

 

That's my intention, but can't say for sure.

 

Did this kind of web today:



Used plasma cutter and did some tidying with dremel, then i did some bendings with bending brake.




Thought that i might use it here, allthought its not finished, needs more dremeling and sanding.

That's one option for this side.

 

I think the web will look good there.

 

I like that web on the corner, too! What do you think of having the windrider (horse) running into it /under it? (I mean placing it on the other top corner, kinda extending from the front spider?

Can't do nothing for a while. F**ked up with the angle grinder and can't use my hands for few weeks.
