Thought for those interested I'd show you my latest attempt at cleaning up the insides of my case:

Thanks. Just took a little planning and some dremel work in key spots to route the cabling through. Also got a local store to make some custom flat cables for me. :D

There's RAM, it's in the outer two slots, but the picture is at such an angle that the PCB for the RAM blends into the PCB of the mobo.

Oh RW, I officially hate you for doing such a good job.

Correct, two sticks in the outer slots, and there is onboard sound. Motherboard is an Epox 8RDA+ NForce 2 board.

BTW whypick, so nice to have a fan...:p :naughty:

Wow that turned out really nice man. From the looks of it the IDE cables coem behind the mobo. I really like that. Good stuff

I need to do a few bits to tidy up but this is nearly done, it has 3 hard drives a cd rom drive. But its hard to keep it tidy as the psu only has 4 molexes on it.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback, I appreciate it.

About the IDE cables, yep, all tucked in the back. I measured out the distance between my CDRW and DVD along with the needed extra length. Then I went to my local computer store and had a custom ribbon cable made to spec for minimizing the clutter. All I needed then was a slot dremeled at the right locations to make the cables as flat as possible.

The front panel connectors I ran behind the tray as well, then cut a hole behind the motherboard right at the connections on the Board. All you see as a result is a very minute piece of wire running immediately back under the motherboard. :hip: :hehe:

Thanks Linear, I love your work on your machines as well. Matter of fact, that's where a lot of my inspiration came from; folks like you, Zap and all the others out here.

As for the sig, yeah, almost everything I use in my cases come from one of those sources, except the cold cathode I have in my case. Latest thing I am adding is using Duplicolor Metalcast paint to give an anodized look to my Fan grills and the shroud on my Volcano 9 HSF, and the wire fan grills in my case.

Starting work soon on stealthing my drives and possibly a stealth mounted blow hole...;)

WOW! I had to double-check to see if the wires were even there! That's cleaner than my case when I remove the hardware.
I think you would cry if you saw my case...

That seems also pretty solid with teh Mass amounts of HDDs there. How many GBs you got up in there?
