Build Advice £1250 Gaming Rig (RPGs and MMOs)

Hey guys,

I am looking for advice on building a rig for playing just RPGs and MMOs (and of course MMORPGs).

Budget: £1200-£1300


Main uses of intended build: Gaming (as stated above), Web browsing etc.


Parts required: All of them because this is my first build (including monitor and other peripherals) As if I am building a computer from scratch.


Previous build information (list details of parts): Dell Inspiron 1750 Laptop so nothing salvagable there.


Monitor resolution: 1920x1080


Storage requirements: I would like a SSD boot drive for OS and a few games and also a 500Gb Hard Drive.


Will you be overclocking: yes (however probably not straight away)


Any motherboard requirements: I'm probably not going to SLI or crossfire and apart from that nothing else.

Extra information about desired system: I would prefer it to look cool maybe with some cool LEDs but really not necessary.

P.S. I would prefer to buy all the components from the same store if possible.
