Is the Tranquillo as quiet as the dark rock? And I think I'll stick with an Antec Truepower 650w because it's only £10 more but opens up the option of SLI/Crossfire.

Your Link has a NZXT PSU in it :eyebrow: The Antec is good but its getting on now and is outclassed by PSUs like the Coolermaster gold series and even the Corsair HX650 since it has dropped in price.

The geild is close enough to the Be quite. But TBH you are going to hear the case fans over the HSF anyways.

If you want quite a Fractal R3 in white would be a much better choice.

Okay, I'll switch the cooler to the gelid. The PSU however is the cheapest 650w that's from a brand that I would trust :( Unless I go non-modular (Eugh) Are there any other areas where I could trim off some money?
I'll stick with the Phantom because it looks cool :D

Yeah, take out Scansure and get the requisite number of posts here to get free delivery from Scan - that will save you £35. Using the Tranquillo should save another ~£15 iirc.

Also keep an eye on Scan's daily deals. They only shave a few quid off, even on the super savers, but that adds up. Minus the SSD, and my rig came in at around £710 so with your case being another £40 more than mine that should make £750 :)

Do the scan today only deals actually discount by that much? I'm having a hard time finding any differences :3

I've found that it's the super-savers which make the most difference, like when they have HDD+RAM together or CPU+MoBo combos.

The corsair units are some of the best PSU's ever made

Sometimes it will be quite a lot - I think most of my components were discounted by about 6 or 7 quid each - that adds up. On the whole though it's just a marketing gimmick to keep you checking their site, sometimes the discount will be less than 20p!

I know this probably what every NZXT psu does but I turned my pc on for the first time and it broke :( got a corsair hx650w and it does what i need it to do. (7 year warranty too :D)

Hmm. Anyone know if ebuyer is cheaper than scan? Ebuyer are looking cheaper at the moment. But which is better service wise?
