    Wow thanks for all the feedback guys, I'll have a lot more digging now I've got some directions.

    The K60 does look tempting.

    Holy macro keys batman! The K50 on the front of it looks really enticing, I didn't notice the K60 having any macros and I kind of need some.

    Now if only I could find that a bit cheaper.

    Is the K50 mechanical? I'd really like to go mech if I can.

    I really just wish the K60 had some macros. Frankly the K50 feels like it's overcompensating for something with 3 banks of macros.

    The Corsair K50, Saitek Cyborg V7, Madcatz STRIKE 3 and SteelSeries Apex Raw are all variants of rubber dome keyboards, i.e. not cherry switch "mechanical" boards.

    The K65 is fully mechanical with Cherry MX red switches, and looks a heck of a lot better than any of the others in my opinion.

    The 6Gv2 is a solid option if you don't mind black switches (heavier reds), available at PC World
