News BioWare confirms Mass Effect: Andromeda delay

They can take all the time they want to make sure it's a true Mass Effect game. I'll be booking a week off work to play this, so I hope they do it right!

I'd rather a game was late and brilliant than on time and mediocre.

 

Another +1 to the above - I'm happy to wait to see a premier product from day one rather than a half arsed attempt to please the masses with a sub standard product

 

It's been so long since there has been a Mass Effect game that I can't even recall the last one that I played...

 

Nah, they're busy figuring out which bits of the game they can cut out for DLC without making it look too obvious.

 

^The sad thing is, I'll lap it up like the simple minded pleb I am.

 

They are adding in Oculus Rift support.

 

i'm still curious what exactly the game is. at this point i'm imagining a me2/3 gameplay merged with more me1 exploration and most likely more open world (as endless map icons and side activities = content these days) but the original teaser made me think of me3 multiplayer/destiny - could it be a mix of these, some kind of mmo/rpg blend ?
