Possibly due to safety concerns. http://www.bit-tech.net/news/gaming/2014/12/01/blood-leaching-game-killed-by-kickstarter/1
mmmmmm I've had it happen a few times where my game-pad went into a perpetual vibration loop and didn't stop until i powered it down, so if I'd had this thing plugged in I would now be a shriveled up corpse
And the world would chalk up another one for Darwin. It was/is a stupid idea (deliberately!) and therefore it's no surprise Kickstarter didn't want to be attached to it.
I've donated a pint of blood in ~5 minutes before so it would be a fairly short game! Very strange idea anyway.
Sounds like a great idea, blood donors sat around on multi-player DOOM, realistic game immersion and the ultimate blood fest all for a good cause, better than a cup of tea and biscuits
They actually have set a limit on the amount of blood that can be drawn - the same as for when you go and donate blood. Is it a stupid idea? Trying to get more people to donate blood? Yeah, totally idiotic.
