I'd stick with a paperback - how many times cheaper, and how much more well built is it? ;D

Think I can safely stick with my iPod Touch for reading ebooks for now. I might have to charge the battery more often, but that's a small price to pay when you consider all the other things it does (and how much easier it'd fit inside a pocket). I've actually grown rather attached to the device, with how easy it is to get new books and how convenient it is to flip through them, I haven't picked up a paperback in months.

Paperback (and all dead tree versions) will not be published in 20 years (most likely much less).

Interesting review, but these kind of e-books are such single-function devices, that they're not worth their money. I've seen one device that makes much more sense. It does HD video, has FullHD output over HDMI, webcam, WiFi and 3G. Media is readable and viewable in daylight, if one chooses the tablet that's equipped with Pixel QI's display tech. The device is Notion Ink's "Adam" and IMHO ticks all the right boxes.

Why do companies insist that high pricing is the golden road to market share....(and are surprised that it doesn't work afterwards)
