    Should that be AMD and Intel?


    OT: I wonder if this will see much benefit to the micro-server market in the long term?
    I wouldn't mind having a low power micro-server with a high end, multicore ARM chip powering it.
    Could be fun.

    Basically as far as I see, it's to fix up ARM's current woeful interconnect. AMD has Seamicro and HyperTransport. Two very useful interconnect technologies.

    So is there a tangible benefit for AMD? Yes. But it'll benefit ARM much more.
