You also have the biotitans which if you're playing the kind/size of games that'll include a Warlord you'll probably have at least one of... Regardless of army, chances are the only think capable of reliably taking one out is another one or a group of smaller titans/super heavies... Is it immune to Armourbane/Lance/Melta stuff too?

Id want something with tank hunters, so you can reroll the damage chart. Three multi meltas is all well and good, but if you're not rolling explodes youre still only taking 1-3 hullpoints. Explodes on normal weapons against super heavies iirc gives you d3 extra hullpoints removal, so if you get all three as explodes and all three as 5/6 that's still only a third of its hullpoints! It could then assault the speeders and with its large blast stomp, they wont be there for long
Been a long time since I posted in this thread. That...is awesome. It's been years since I last dealt with figurines, but I would love to have that on display. Problem is, I bet it's expensive. How much do we think? The first Forgeworld model to cost £1k? maybe even more? Plus, because I am terrible at painting, I'd have to look into hiring someone, who'd have to buy a tonne of paint just to be able to actually cover it all! Cool, but just as interested in what's behind it - Roboute Gulliman!
Probably be a few hundred pounds for a professional painter to do a warlord- postage would be costly as well due to the size/weight of the model- paint would be quite cheap as it would be airbrushed.
Right then, who's for cuddles? Not finished yet, still need to so a load more weathering over places like the transfers, they are a bit too clean at the moment. The base still needs a lot more finishing but so far, these have been great fun to paint. Got another one almost to this point as well. I was hoping to do both at the same time and rate but, as is always the case, one seems to have taken over. Not started the Datasmith yet but he's a hell of a nice model, so many nice little touches like the data chip thingy stuck in the top of his head and the little arm on his front.
It doesn't look as 70's as it did the first time they appeared, that's for sure. Side note. Warlord pricing, seems the Volcano cannons are ~90 each, the carapace weapons are 110 for the pair, the head is ~50, and the body is ~900. So you can do a bit-by-bit buy!

Looking nice a start of a knight/titan legion? FW have a new range of airbrush paints, also Space Marines are next up- so far codex/new assault/destroyer squads- think tactical marine box change.
I think it was more an impulse buy than anything. I didn't realise how much bigger these were than the GW knights, so seeing it in the FW shop made me go "ooooo" and my wallet go "ow". Yeah, looking forward to the new SM release, but I'll be waiting to see if Templars are in it before buying it.
Has anyone ever bought anything from the Chinese recasters? Not Aliexpress but any others. I found out about some on reddit after googling for SOB recasts. Since £50 for a squad is abit much but $10 for them seems alot more reasonable.
It will be interesting to see how much they change with the SM codex, some DA rumors about as well but it would be good to see a templar codex again.
