well im getting a macbook (i need it for school) and i was wondering if i should spend the extra 100 bucks for 1gb of ram vs then regular 512. i want to do some grapics ect on it and i have photoshop. thanks

 

No, do not. Instead, order it with 512MB and upgrade it yourself to 2GB for $100

 

where can i get 2x 1gig laptop ram for 50 bucks a pop?

 

well i dont really need 2 gigs but there is a tutorial on how to add ram to a macbook so i dont think it voids warranty + 1.25 gigs for 80 bucks sounds alright

if you allready got 1GB in a single stick then just get another single stick and it won't cost that $189

i got my macbook 2ghz stock ram and i ordered a gig of patriot ram ts commin tomorrow and i will order another stick (1.25 gigs > 2 gigs) if im not satisfied with 1.25 gigs of ram. btw this laptop rocks would reccomend if you got the moolah
