    The i3 chips have dropped ECC support also. Do any Kaby Lake consumer chips contain ECC support?

    this makes sense to me, almost everyone will probably benefit (even if they never notice) a little, while the small amount of those significantly affected should have the dosh to spend more on a higher grade cpu.
