    I was under the impression that the Asus P7P55D vanilla did not support SLI.

    Yes, if the GPU scaling on that is really as they promise this would surely be the P55 board of choice... It'd be amazing if I could pair a 5870 with my 260 for example...

    Getting cake in the CPU socket! And doing it well enough to bend 6 pins. Is the socket rather fragile, or did you drop a bit lump of cake in? nom nom nom

    With an i5 750 retail heatsink and Gigabyte p55-ud3p I've managed to get 3.6 GHz with 200 MHz BCLK and an 18x multiplier. I'm sure that with a better cooler 4 GHz is posible.

    Still, it is a testament to their design if it still works with your addition. I guess that is why the memory was being flaky? and was it flicking around once booted up or just sometimes booting with 2GB and sometimes with 4? if the former that could be fun to watch...
