Well when I was going to my classes today my eyes fell on a Lamborghini Countach parked on the side of the road. After nearly falling off my bike and crashing into the car behind it I drooled over it until I was late for class. Of course after class I went back and drooled some more. It was a black Countach with light brown interior. Not sure on the year but it had quad exhaust and no spoiler. Upon further inspection I found that it had a parking permitt. I'm pretty sure it isn't a student's, but I don't know any professor around the uni that can afford a Countach (in very good condition I might add, just needs a wash). I kind of wish the owner would have walked out when I was drooling on it (and being late for class). I kinda wanted him to pop the trunk so I could see the engine... edit - a Countach spotting and 1200 posts, w00t.
I see this as being either a car thread, suited for the motors forum, or a slightly sly way of boasting about 1200 posts but I shall move this to the motors forum and give you the benefit of the doubt The Countach is a nice car, utterly impractical sure, and being Italian it might break down a lot, but frankly who cares? I can't think of many cars that have such visual impact as Lambos tbh...
It was more of a thread about my amazement of seeing a Lamborghini at CSU, but fair enough . Lamborghini's have always been my favorite car. They just look cool .
I saw one at the Autostadt in Germany last year (the big VW-group theme park type thing) more specifically, i saw the new versions of all the different ones they make, including the new Diablo *drools profusely*. Nice motor.
I've always loved Lambo's and will sadly never own one I've seen a few at car shows and such, but only one time have I actually seen one on the road. It was in Monroe Wisconsin. It had a hideously ugly brown color scheme inside and out, but that wasn't the tragedy. This middle aged "I'm compensating" looking dude was leaving a big grocery store in it --- by himself --- in the snow! I've never wanted to punch someone in the head quite so badly as I did then.
New Diablo? They're new models are Murcielago Barchettas. Unless I missed something... Which I probably did. I would have stolen that old guys Lamborghini... The stock price for the new Lamborghini is $160,000 (I repeate, STOCK). When I get a job I will probably buy a Lamborghini and live in it and forget about the whole house thing . Hey, 0 to 60 in 4.2 seconds, thats the fastest home I've ever seen .
I don't have a digicam and unfortunately its gone now . Apparently the owner parks there once a week, so I know where I will be .
I drove past Lancaster's impound in London last week.... must have been a good 20 New Lambo's in there, along with Lotus's, Jags Bentley's etc.... Had to be very careful i didnt stack my car while driving past!
Lamborghini Countach, very nice I have seen a few over the years on the road and at car shows etc. Lamborghini Diablo SE is also very nice indeed.

Re: you said visuals... It's no Lambo, that's for sure . The front looks a little "Porsche" to me actually.
New Murcielago R-GT anybody?. http://www.lambocars.com/highres/murgtr2.jpg http://www.lambocars.com/highres/murgtr1.jpg http://www.corsaridellapista.com/auto/gtr1.jpg http://www.corsaridellapista.com/auto/gtr2.jpg P.S. Countach, the best sounding car ever!. Bought the DVD of Cannonball Run just so i could listen to the opening couple of minutes with the black Lambo through the house stereo... Don't steal bandwidth please. Oh and that Murcialago looks like pure ****ing evil. Gimme. *n
