Yup. Had a nice chat with the guy after. He's a photographer from Bristol :) He did list it as full HD so there was a moment of panic but it is actually 1680x1050.

To go over my mother's house with my third PC (they all have numbers lol). I want a bolt hole for when I become homeless. Got another one of these too. I keep destroying them soldering on them etc.

I can highly recommend it! I've never driven anything that comes close. As much as I like them all, you can keep your Evos, your STis and your Focus RS'. Nothing drives like a GT-Four! :D

    Upgrade time!

Z270i with de-lidded 7700K bough here a couple of months ago, 250GB m.2 drive and 16GB RAM. 3400MHz CL16 and managed to get it at £180 which is somewhat of a bargain at current rates.

New cooling set up with Aquearo 6LT with heatsink, waterblock and mounting brackets and new PWM fans: 4x 120mm an 2x 140mm EK Furious Vardar EVO.

Watercool Heatkiller IV Pro and Thermalright ram cooler. Not sure if the cooler will fit DDR4, will probably run without till have made sure.

Thermal pastes, pads, cleaner for all the blocks. A few male to male fittings and 2 90degree male to female fittings. A usb3 to usb2 cable as the mobo only has USB 3 and the Aquearo needs 2. Joy. And a pure copper IHS for the 7700K.

Finally some new coolant. Mayhems orange pastel amd some silver aurora booster. Will hopefully have a decent effect.

Have you bought the right adapter there Crapman? It looks like it goes from a USB2 motherboard header to a USB3 case socket. I think you need one going the other way around like this if I'm understanding your post correctly.

Oh donkey balls! Yep, completely useless. Thanks for the heads up, that would have been quite annoying to discover mid build. To the crap cave!

A mic stand for the simply ludicrous price of €9, delivered from Germany in 48h!
Rather decent quality too. The mounting bracket doesn't seem like it'll last a lifetime, but for €9 I'm not complaining (and the arm "stem" seems like a standard size, so probably easily replaceable).

Was so impressed this is actually the second copy I got, the first I gave to my brother.

I'm going to assume this came from Thomann, who are the lifeblood of the entertainment industry in Europe. A lot of production companies would be seriously screwed if they went away.

Used to have a Logitech G27 for PS3 back when I played Gran Turismo. Since getting rid of that a number of years ago I've been racing using a controller on Xbox One. Until today :naughty:

Need to shop around for a stand now (thinking the Omega GT one).

DDR4 is no different to DDR3 and DDR2 so the ram cooler should work fine. I just stuck some Dom sinks on my DDR4.

Nice block ! kinda sucks that Aquacomputer are going to start charging a yearly license for the software, though. Had I of known that I'd never have bought my Poweradjust 3.
