Underpowered?? Something that small with a 1.3 engine isn't slow.

So are you going to put a stage 1 kit in? :naughty:

    Which 'cobra engine'? :/

    The 289 or the 427?

If I were going for a larger V8, I'd plump for a ford 302. Cheap power.
Besides, Doris (the yellow one) is FWD - uses a Princess box IIRC. The pievan is another interesting one...

You seen The Beardmore Bros' Reliant Kitten (pro-street)?

the 427 just for pure comic value. just imagine pulling up to the lights in it, accross from you is some estate agent in a BMW mini cooper S. gun it and leave the BMW choking in your tyre smoke

    427 wouldn't fit.

Best idea I've seen so far is a xcars twin-engine rear end with 2xholeshot racing hyabusa turbo lumps.

    900-1000bhp all in...

    ...

You very well can my dear. A special edition is worth far more standard than it is with a stage 1 kit, sportspack arches and cobra bucket seats. Similarly if you have a mint cooper (like me) then why not keep it in its currently beautiful state?

If I had a mayfair or a sprite I probably would mod it a bit. But I don't and I love my car as it is.

With enough tooling a 502 big block chevy may fit in it. And those could hit about 800hp naturaly aspirated and about 1000lb of tourque now imagine a twin turbo setup of that and pushing in the range of 2000hp and 2500lb of tourque?

I think a f16 could not catch up to a mini with that. You can call it the angry bee.

    Ah well i could dream.

Yes im aware my answer is always put a large v8 in it but I guess thats the kinda guy I am. And if it alredy has a v8 then go for a twin 502 setup.

Lol - that really made me smile! No I ain't had him on three wheels yet! He certainly is teh seks11!!!!1oen tho :D Just been enjoying driving him round, is great fun waving at the other mini drivers and honking horns etc.

Gave him a wash from top to toe and a good polish all over with my valet kit yesterday, looks stunning when he sparkles in the sun :D
