First of all i will start with at big thanks to the sponsors that have helped me out alot with this build, without them it wouldnt be possible. They were the guys taking a risk of helping me out with my first build. I hope you guys will take it easy on me and give good pointers in what should have been done instead or made in another way. I know the pictures isnt the best but my work area is kinda dark so i was a bit handicapped in taking pictures there. Main sponsor is PC-Cooling.de With parts from Coolforce and Nanoxia But i wont forget the help i got from Coolerkit.dk and ColdZero.eu too This build log should have been created for a long time. But the first account i created didnt get activated and last of all deleted so had to create a new one and finally got it activated. Well the main Hardware for this build is : Asus X99 Deluxe Motherboard Intel I7 5820K MSI GeForce GTX 970 GAMING CoolerMaster V650 power supply Memory isnt chosen yet but on pictures Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2666 DC 16GB The watercooling parts is: Coolforce Fittings Coolforce PETG Hard tube 12/10mm Coolforce No.1 UV Green Fluid D5 Pump mounted on EKWB Xres reservoir EKWB waterblocks All build into a Nanoxia Deep Silence 6 Case. Well thats all for now, i will update the post when i get the pictures from my camera.
Finally got the new ram modules it is Apacer Commando DDR4 2666 Mhz so its all black so i dosent stick out.. And more Updates and pictures are incomming ! ! !
First Pictures ! ! ! The first shipment arrived with the case, fans and the new cables and cable combs from Coolforce and i cant say it enough i love them. They are so nice to look at, the aluminium combs looks cool when mounted, the only downside is that they are pretty expensive. @Ruzzh
Those cable clips look nice. But no one will ever pay 30 euros for a single cable clip. That is just insane.
Stuff from EKWB and backplate for gfx The waterblocks and reservoir on this system is as mentioned from EKWB. Unfortunately, the waterblock for the motherboard was not in stock when I ordered the parts that is why it is not on the pictures. So I considered too use a normal cpu block but changed my mind later on. I got a cool backplate custom made for the gfx and i am pleased with the result. Thx to Ricardo from Coldzero.eu @ RuzzH
The first idea This was the first idea markup but didnt go all that well so did something else instead. pictures inc..
Disassembly DONE Disassembly DONE, and the fabrication has begun. All inside the case has been removed to make room for what I have planned. All the wood inside the case I MDF so it is easier to work with. @ RuzzH
First test mount of demo motherboard Well finally got so far that i could mount the demo motherboard and the watercooling to see how it looks with hardware in it. And on the pictures it is normal EKwb supremacy waterblock on the cpu, not the final cpu waterblock. @ Ruzzh
Finally assembling Well I finally got the last waterblock so I could mount it on the motherboard that means that I trying to make the hard tube with the real hardware, no more demo hardware. Except the ram. I will of course take it apart again and paint the MDF. @RuzzH
I think it's a dealbreaker, that the cables don't run straight (most the 24 pin) It destroys the clean look i think.
I totally agree with you that the cables should be more straight than they are. But they are not working together with me.
New pictures Finally I got a bit further, most of it is done but still need to do a bit of lighting @ Ruzzh
Lighting done Now i got the lighting done. Overall i am pretty satisfied how the build ended out, but there are always stuff thay could have been done in other ways. Hope you guys liked it @ Ruzzh
