    Hey,
as many of you know, Apple released the new iMac today in San Francisco, and I was wondering what you all think of it.

posting some pictures of the new iMac, old iMac and G4 Tower. Compare and say which you like more.

Mac can suck my ****. I like none of them the only thing I would like with a mac is modding it with a baseball bat and some fireworks.

The middle one, the G4 looks nicest to me. I dont like the funny angular arm thing on the new one...horrible.
I don't like the old imac though

Apples recent stuff is very nicely designed (even if the new iMac looks a bit bulbous). IMHO:p

The new G4 imac looks a touch like it wouldnt seem out of place as a prop from a 70's scfi series - but I like it :D

I like the "swing-bin" iMac mod,

lots of room for a huge fan with direct cooling....

Then rip the machine to parts, and replace it with Pc parts, and you got a PC in a mac, in a bin, with a big fan...

    Then......

maybe you could just throw all of it in the bin.?

Is it just me, or does anyone else think mac design is very wussy? All pastel plastics and non-threatning rounded edges.

Imac`s look like half-sucked boiled sweets, and that new one appears to be an ikea lamp.

I saw one of the new macs at the BETT show, and my advice is - dont move it! - not exactly a solid piece of kit.

Apple would probably make more money buy selling the G4 power case as just a case, so some decent hardware could go in it

Give me a nice angular ally Lian Li any day, or even better a Macro Black! (hopefully they will go into production soon! :p)

So long as there's famous people, jounalists and films/TV programmes about young dynamic people, Apple will always have someone to sell their latest concept products to.

I have yet to see someone buy a mac who doesn't need something it does specifically, be that music, graphics or only having one mouse button for simplicity ;)
