Gilljoy is the only one so far in the thread. Hopefully their partnering with this site means they're heading into our sort of market with some enthusiasm.
I rate FSP. I've used them for years. I've had a few of these from scan. They used to put them on the "today only" for £30. At £60 they are OK, but at £30 they are AWSOME!
If im honest the PSU i've got isnt good and isnt bad its simply mediocre, but does the job. Woudlnt like to SLI with it tho
I had a couple of FSP's a long time ago (read Althon 1800+ I think). They were pretty good pieces of kit
I have a couple of FSP PSUs. I have one of those new FSP Aurum 700W PSUs installed in my machine and it's greta so far. Was sent to me by FSP direct from Taiwan as a competition win. I also have a OCZ SXS 600W which is FSP OEM and that's been solid for 2 years. A little bit on the noisy side if I'm honest but then I do have a reasonably quiet computer.
Can we make requests? I want to see a 500w+ SFX PSU.... like the Silverstone ST45SF, only, you know, not so janky (squeaks'n'clicks dontchaknow). Maybe some higher wattage (400w+) flex/ITX/1U PSUs (e.g., ~40x80x150mm), too.
Hello! If you look into our website http://www.fsp-group.com/english/1_product/2_detail.asp?mainid=1&fid=57&proid=591, you will fined FSP400-60GHS. This is exactly same PSU you mentioned. We also make 300W or 450W for the same form factor. And for 400W+ 1U PSUs, 300/350/400/460W are the main stream we found in UK. You can find upto 700W 1U PSU from our website. http://www.fsp-group.com/english/1_product/1_list.asp?mainid=2&fid=141 We don't do too high watt for ITX due to the spec requirement. Most people who use ITX PSU for their chasiss don't require too much power. Hope it helps!
