Finishing the edges of the acrylic part that comes at top of the case.

Only the edge of the acrylic will be visible underneath the grill, reservoirplate and the fillcap.

    And from another angle

Very nice... and clean. Are you going to remove the material inside the radiator grill?

Oh yes, I forgot to tell that. I didn't remove it yet, because I'm not sure how I will cut it. Maybe I will follow the grill with all the "legs". Will be a lot of work, but I think the result will be worth it.

Wow, you don't know how much I envy your plexi skills. I've been working with the stuff most of the day and have been driven round the bend. Keep it up! :D

you have absolutly no idea how much of a masterpiece this case is even in an unfinished state. its just jaw dropping how well you work this all out by hand, and the inspiration that you have added up in my head, i only hope my bank account can keep up with my imagination from this. thanks for making things look easier then i thought they were so it gives me some motivation to try more projects out... wow i make it sound like im going off to cure cancer.... :p

I want to place a lot of LEDs in the case, but can't decide on one thing. Should I place the LEDs in series or parallel. What are the advantages and disadvantages of these two? Someone?

in parallel the all the leds get the same voltage

in serie all the leds get the same current.

Parallel is the way to go for leds

I saw that done once... very cool effect but may or may not be worth the effort of just one big hole. The person who did it had a frosted blue effect so fairly different than yours but looked very nice.

They will need to be in series, but they can share a pull down resistor.

Sanding all the aluminium takes a lot of time. I guess the sanding will be ready the end of this week. Ready to be polished.

These parts have been sanded and are waiting to be polished.

I'm thinking about a last minute modification. A while back I had to buy some parts from a German webshop. Because of the costs to have the stuff send over to Holland I always buy several things, also stuff I sell to other people. This just to cover the shipment costs. Last time I saw and bought this

A regcooler for the ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe motherboard. I didn't think it would be possible to use it in this mod, because it would be just behind the radiator in the back and there would be no room to fit the hoses, but I just couldn't stop thinking about this cooler. It is perfect for this mod, with all the other watercooled parts. Now i think it might just be possible to place it when I use these fittings.

That it's blue is no problem, it will be behind the aluminium cover, so it will not be visible. I think I will have to give it a try.

Hmm I like the idea. Where exactly does that thing fit and how thick is it?

It is a mosfetcooler so it will come in this spot

This watercoolblock is even a bit thinner as the original block, but the hosefittings are the problem. The way you see the motherboard on this photo it will be placed into the Lian Li. You can see it is directly behind the radiator in the back.
