Thanx for the feedback, guys! Anyway, should anyone consider relocating these capacitors, the solder used on these boards use a higher tin content, so you have to have a good temp controlled iron that can do around 320-350deg C.

Take care that you don't damage the pcb when removing the cap. :)

You've got guts touching a 6800 U with a soldering iron  Did you not fancy volt modding it while you were at it? :D Great work so far.

    Hi Leeum,
it will be mainly used as a racing sim rig, so.....no heavy vmodding needed ;) More stability, and reliability, like running for 10-12 hours non-stop without throttling back or something.....

I have an ecci6000 wheel to use with it.....

    Chat to you later again.

    Br,
    MrBean.

Awsome, I wanted to sugest recolacting the cap but I didnt wana lead you to destroying your vid card. But I have to say that your skills seem to be endless.

What kind of racing sim are you going to run on it? I love toca racing 2. Its awsome. I have a logitech force feedback weel as well but I havent used it in months. Maybe ill pull it out. Hey you never know maybe we could race online sometime.

    hope you update soon

it's a pity that this log doesn't seem to get updated anymore...there are some very nice ideas here and I would definitely like to see the result...
