Would be the third, but I'm not going to do it. There is no way a single BIX can cool a dual Opteron and two GPUs, and there are no suitable blocks for the GF6800 series anyway (I just don't like the NV68, sorry). I'll stick with what I've got. ;) But it's nice to know that an SLI upgrade path is available if in a few years or so I decided to upgrade.

That's a 5" LCD screen --fits perfectly in the bays. You can cannibalise a PSOne LCD screen --there is a Modding Guide on these forums that tells you how.

There is NEXXO, not that you need anyone to give you the encouragement becase you may end up being tempted (little devil on your shoulder.....go on why not, you will be the first in here with a dual opteron, dual gpu card)

    Take a look here

The low profile would really do the trick m8!

Outstanding work. Really incredible work and the white subtle lighting is just amazing!

*sticks fingers in ears* Ladadadadaaah...! I'm not listening! :p

    Thanks!

This morning I had just worked out a way to mod two NV68s to make one integrated SLI cooling block (somewhat different approach than Coolmeister's) complete with integrated GPU support bracket. A bit like the Innovatek SLI version, but, well, more pimp.

However (as I said) I'm not going to do it. The price would be prohibitive (new mobo, plus two 6800s, plus two NV68s, plus a bunch of CNC-ing? I don't think so). And I do not have the room for a bigger rad. Gotta draw the line somewhere --this thing has cost me enough and I'm not even finished. Perhaps in a year or two I may start on my Coolermaster ATC-S4000 and put SLI in there --although by that stage no doubt we're up to four GPUs by then! :p

C'mon dude, hit the spirit of modding. Drop a brand new mobo in there with some SLI support and dual NF4 Chipsets, and grab 2x ASUS Dual 6800 Monsters. Sure it'll be pricy, but that thing will slaughter ANY compotition it runs in - whether it be for looks or performance.

You think a BIX will cope with that amount of heat?

'Course it wont, but still, there's gotta be room for another rad and to have it look elegant. Then again, it might be able to handle the heat.

    I agree with Tulatin; there must be a spot somewhere for another radiator, and I think I spotted it;

You have two 80mm fans right there with what appears to be plenty of overhead space. Whats another 25mm for a second radiator in that spot? :naughty:

A single BIX definitely won't handle the load. A second BIX would *just* about fit though, with the fan on the outside. Tell you what: if you send me the money to do it, I'll go for it. :naughty:

yeah c'mon nexxo, do it. We'll all vote for you in every compotition you enter! You can easily make the money back, after all maximum PC give you a G for rig of the month and well... metaversa is already rig of the year. Think about what it will do here!

I'm the brain psychologist working for the NHS. This means I'm heavily underpaid. ;)
Meataversa is rig of three years. :p In order to not make it four, I think I'll just finish her up as she is.

You could put a dual 120 laying down and change the pump around:
    Don't mind the Photoshop skills!

If you put about 50 bucks into the savings account each months and it will be a total of about 1500 bucks its easily 30 months, not that long :hehe: :p ;)
