I just did this again, 2 and a half months after Cyprio's post........

 

i think he has 'modders block' like writers block but worse as it can envolve lack of funds and time, either that or he now has a girl friend draining his wallet! lol!

 

Hey guys.

There are no girlfriends or anything else too serious. Just lack of time since I'm finishing up my school and working full-time at the moment.

Actually I've made progress with the monster and almost all of the parts are now at least ordered, but the case is in such a stage that I want it washed and cleaned before taking any pictures of it.

I'd say that there shouldn't be too many updates before I can say it's finished, but they're going to be big ones.

Stay with me, I promise this thing will be done (and without any modders blocks too ), I just can't promise when since this is the situation.

Well I can safely say we're all looking forward to it!

 

I am definately looking forward to this! I can honestly say Bit-Tech has been a bit of a let-down for me lately. Mostly because I thought OM had been forever buried in the archives of unfinished mods. For me OM is one of the brightest gems Bit-Tech has to offer. Hopefully we will see more of you soon.

I just finished a lengthy photo session and with some confidence I can promise an update for tomorrow (I'd do it now, but it's 3.24 at the moment and I'm way too tired ).

Res modding

I really don't get to say this often enough: It's UPDATE time

Let's start off slowly and see what I've been up to with the reservoir of the Monster...

As you probably don't remember, this is the res of choice for the Monster:



It's quite allright, sturdy, but not that hot, let's see what kind of things we'll get into...



Okay, I made a custom front plate for the res, but I'm not sure if that's going to be the final one, but it'll definitely be something like this.





As you can see, the Monster is moving towards more black and polished alu and not so much orange, the orange will be used for highlights.



Okay, I had to try it, but now you can see why I decided not to use it, that damn green is crawling back again



While we're at it, let's check out the backside as well, nothing out of the ordinary there.
