I would like to give a warm welcome to the praetorians sibling, the praetorian 731: *PUKES* I wanna kill that stylist, the praetorian is about minimalist not all the crud on the front
review here says same inside, new outside. Now personally I thought it was the outside not the inside of the praetorian that made it special Inside is nice, but its still using 80mm fans, they should be on 120mm by now! Still I wouldnt say no if someone offered me one
all they need to do is flatten the bumpy bit, and put thier original mesh back. And replace the 2*80mm fans at the back it a 120mm. Then it'll be a seller Anyway, Loving the case coolmiester, love all your wavemaster range
Sorry to anyone who has a Praetorian but that thing is nasty. I'm sure i read somewhere they had actually changed the designer for that case. Sli cards will be here Monday so update and pictures shouldn't be too long Cheers
Nice! Im pretty sure there was a change in designer because just compare the original to the "731", they dont even look similar!
That one has been around for a while. But it only offers a solution for the narrow-tube German systems, and it will only fit an Asus SLi mobo due to the distancing of the two GPU slots. Coolermeister's solution is a bit more flexible.
That's the 2x 512mb version and remember its 10mm The Inquirer leaked this article on Thursday 20 January so i've known about it for a while! Its always a bit more satisfying coming up with your own solution and to see DD go down the same route shows it might just work........i hope!
Coolmeister is using the Asus though right for the extra space, so no difference there... And the small bore systems arnt that much different, quite alot perform similarly to large bore. But the matter of fact here is, the DD blocks look better
The only problem is though if you try to add a 10mm block to a 1/2" set-up you end up restricting things way to much (more so with a dual Sli block) even if you re-tap the block to fit 1/2" barbs which i tried on the CoolFX below.......the TDX will suffer considerably. Moral of the story is try to keep everything low-flow or everything hi-flow!
What's all this got to do with coolmiester's project? Back on topic peeps, any sign of those cards from Gainward Paul?
