Wow, I wish I had my own comp at 8, let alone a watercooled one.

Actually maybe by that time I was using our thing that didn't have a HDD and booted off a pair of 5.25" floppies. Don't remember TBH.

In any case, great work so far! I really love how you do those res's and the LED mounts. I can't seem to find any acrylic tubing locally for the life of me :(

thanx Roto :) i'll try! boost those beems :D

A bit more work done, and Zak helped and made himself a sexy lil cover for his rear rad fan :)

I got on with making the front plex panel.

The original door was ditched for somthing that fitted in with the rest of the case.

Again using plex but 6mm this time :) countersunk holes drilled and cdrom hole cut.

Next a black plastic backing is cut with 2 holes this will later be swapped for a better idea.

one hole for the cdrom and another for Zak's new Matrix Orbital LCD display.

The idea of using a plastic back panel is that it too will be "interchangable" so if the black dosn not match, maybe somthing better and a bit shinier will!!!!!

Again a qik fit up and look see ,

    Sure :)

Using some sexy 1 into 2 adaptors we can add more lights or change colour as needed :)

The end result is some stunning effects.

As for making the front glow :) Zak spotted some sexy mirrored plex @ the plex shop and a sheet was purchased to make a new front panel and a few other things to come!!!!!

Witht he new mirror plex added and a LED placed @ the base

Again the over all result seems to be getting better all the time and zak is having a ball with his new light effects :)

Mirrored plexi! Didn't know that existed, might have to check it out for a front bezel rebuild & stealthing on my box!

Zak is a lucky little *******! My family comps were always dusty beige boxes, this brand-new box of mine is my first decent one!

Looks great, love the lighting & esp. the quick-change plugs!

unbelievable.. what a very nice job

But please don't go that fast :D I'm aware that your son wants the computer finished a.s.a.p. BUT please slow down. Otherwise this project is over before we know and that would be a shame. Let us enjoy this for, let's say, a couple of months.. :D :D

I also like the way you did the lights. Can I borrow the idea for my mod? I'll give you credits of course. :hip:
