Hi All. Info for those with issues... There is a manufacturing defect with some Sapphire RX480 Nitro+ 8GB OC cards. Prolonged use can cause some cards memory to overheat, resulting in the crash of the game. In my case, shadow warrior 2, total war warhammer, and 7dtd after about an hour or two of play. After trying everything from https://community.amd.com/thread/210786 I contacted manufacturer and overclockers, they are aware of the issue so I have returned the card for a repair/replace/refund... Troubleshooting included: Clean Wipe of Drivers New Drivers Old Drivers Clean OS Install Underclocking the card
