    How long have you been using linux to have not heard of conky? :D

    Try looking for a configuration thread on some distro's support forums. Particularly the Ubuntu and Crunchbang forums have huge threads and it's very, very configurable. Graphs, system information, mail scripts, weather forecasts, etc etc.

    Rainmeter is using the elementary skin for chronophage, date and time.
    Rest is enigmas calendar, music, systems info, and system uptime. Can't remember the custom theme name for my win 7, got it from another member here. Believe it was dark 2.0 or something along those lines.

    All programs are hidden on rocketdock.

    Reasons why I hate Monday include (but are not limited to):

    having to get up for uni labs;
    some of the machines in the lab randomly can't connect to the network;
    everyone uses the same account (no personalized accounts and no ability to set my mouse to left handed mode permanently);

    So I log in to see this:

    Mansueto, would you recommend RocketDock? I've been trying to tinker with my desktop the last few days and the crappy toolbars in W7 are just annoying me now :)

    Ah, I see RocketDock doesn't like W7 64-bit. Anyone had any experience with it on that.

    I've seen all these various Desktop management programs and skins and don't know where to start! :)

    I'll have to find it or host it myself when I get home!

    As for the rocketdock comment, I've used it for maybe close to a year to hide icons and love it. You can get icon packs to change the icons appearance, can choose where you want it (top, bottom, left, right, offset, etc.) and you can pretty much make it move how you want, slow, fast, etc. Really easy and straight forward to use, just drag an icon onto the bar and its there, than you can delete the icon.

    I think I found it originally on the #! forums, but I added the quad core usage bars, the email script, and other stuff. There was also a fairly hefty ${if} statement around the networking for all the different interfaces but I don't use DHCP so I ditched it. If you want it . . . . . .

    Code:
    # .conkyrc by fabsh <fabsh@lamerk.org> and modified by Jack <jackelliott@gmail.com>
