Don't knock chritianity (any more than you'd knock Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism etc). Knock fundamentalism.

Religion has done some good stuff: it has given people frameworks to live by. It has inspired charity and great deeds of humanity. It has done some bad stuff too: it has inspired crusades and wars, inquisition and persecution.

    People, eh?

What blew up trains in the London underground wasn't Islam, it was fundamentalism. What created religious persecution in Western Europe wasn't chritianity, it was fundamentalism... again what created this museum is fundamentalism.

Be wary. It doesn't always come in a religious package either. Any philosophy or viewpoint can go fundamental on you... :worried:

    I agree with other people

Religion is good, as it gives people hope and belief.

Fundamentalism is bad, as it cause people to go a bit crazy by society standards.

Trust me, I've served in Iraq!

Sadly it's true though :sigh: If any of you get the opportunity to watch Penn and Teller's TV series, more specificaly the episode on creationism, it makes quite a few very good points. Season 1 episode 8, just incase ;)
