I'm guessing you have no clue how design works?

Just because the final outcome is simple, or minimalistic, doesn't mean there wasn't alot of work put into this.

I'm guessing you have no clue how design works either.

This isn't simple or minimalistic, it's just stupid. It's as if THQ hired some designer wannabe in his early teens with no education or sense for design who thinks he's just supposed to make letters as different as possible for no rhyme or reason.

Just using Times New Roman would be an improvement over this. And THAT would even be minimalistic.

Not overly impressed. Even the last logo was better. Hopefully this will grow on us or they will change it.

Thats just terrible... How does a company with so much money and resources come up with some crap a 12 year old could accomplish in 5 minutes?

BTW THQ I can make a better one for you ;)

Er, yeah, guys, this is just a logo, right? Does it really matter what the logo looks like?

If it turns out that they halted all game development to focus on this logo (not a suggestion) then you'd be more justified in having a go at it, but unless you like printing off all the company logos and hanging them on your wall (who wouldn't if they had the time?) then it shouldn't be a problem... should it?

If you didn't already know that this logo belonged to THQ, could you identify the company from the logo? I mean, can you actually read it without being told what it says? I think the fact I even have to ask shows that this is a poor piece of design.

Reality is who cares? Does anyone in here actually buy a game cause the logo is great?

This smacks of management book says new logo will change our image 1980's theory as opposed to slightly more modern thinking like why do people buy games? (large advertising spend) EA/Activision thinking.

Truth is we buy games either cause they are good (dawn of war) or part of a franchise that was good so give it a shot (dawn of war 2) or cause it was cheap in a sale x3 (£4 for gold version on impulse still not played it)

I like the T and the H but the Q doesn't exactly look like a Q to me, if I didn't know it was the new THQ logo and just saw it on a box I might not put two and two together.

Seriously what does this PR twadle actually mean?

I am suprised they didn't manage to squeeze "culture" into that statement seeing as that's the new "in" word in business.
