Modding UV Cold Cathodes

    What is the color of a UV CC? I have 2 blue CC's and want to add a uv but want them to be all blue.

    the actual "glass" part of a UV CC is black and when lit, they have a purple-ish color, well at least the few that i have seen are.

    i have 3 in my case, and they glow purple....

    Yep, They look purple. I would have thought this would go quite well with a couple of blue ones!:cool:

    Definitly look purple to me however my camera thinks they are blue :/

    so you dont think uv and blue would look messed up?

    If you use the plastic tube the CC come in to mount it. The tube glows blue! ;)

    :) I wish there was a camera that could take images of UV that makes it look as good as it does in real life :)
