Just insane, a lot of fun to just sit back and watch the silliness unfold.

 

Was in two minds whether to post this or not as the sound isn't great in places, and it's probably only preaching to the converted.

 

It's important to get this info, It effects us all. People need to take control of their lives before it's to late.

An Aside: Although replies have become more infrequent I'm happy to see this thread returned to eccentric, nuanced content rather than someone just posting every new video from their populist youtube channel subscriptions

This just went on my "To watch" list.

 

By itself it's a great trailer, but why do they always spoil everything but the ending?
[spoiler-ed for those who purposely haven't watched the trailer]

We know the guy gets stranded, we know he manages to grow plants and sustain himself after a while, we know he manages to contact Earth again and get a rescue mission going and we know that because of reasons all his hard work blows up and the rescue team has a hard time getting to him. I guess Sean Bean also dies at some point. That's like 80% of the film.
The only thing missing is the team back on earth smiling and walking hand in hand towards the sunset.

I have to type this while averting my eyes so as to not see your spoiler. I've read the book (totally awesome), and am a die-hard trailer avoider. I hate that the best jokes get ruined, the plot or even twists get revealed or spoiled. Even seeing Matt Damon in the still got me a little mad (which I know is going a little too far). I really do avoid learning anything about movies before I go see them.

Also, they don't really constitute videos of awesome. It's mainstream and highly commercialized. People can find it easily if they want it. I understand your desire to post trailers and talk about upcoming movies, but I think it might deserve its own thread. That way the commentary isn't cluttering up the space between the videos of awesome.
