www.abc.com has free episodes for 6 shows online, they do have like 5s ads, but it's better than watching on tv with 3m ad breaks

I personally can't stand Jon Stewart's smug attitude and pseudo-news but I appreciate the precedent this web-release sets.

I realise that, however, at lot of people actually consider it to be the primary source of their news :eeek: http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/tv/157538_tv22.html

Honestly though, I don't care. I didn't much care for Seinfeld either and that was hugely popular. For me he was too whiny and Jon Stewart is too smug and mocking - I don't like his show and that's my personal taste - If you like him then good for you. :thumb:

I just made my post to say that I like the precedent (and only that).

To be honest, The Daily Show is a more fair and balanced coverage of news than any of the other (US) news networks. Considering the over-hyping and fearmongering that ABC, CNN, (MS)NBC and Fox (Especially) are all guilty of, along with their very distinctly biased viewpoints, the sarcastic and caustic viewpoint that Jon Stewart uses equally is a breath of fresh air.

And, if you want to see things from the other side of the fence (So pro-government-line and right-wing it ends up wrapping around and being left wing again), you wait half an hour and watch the Colbert Report straight after.

Got to admit I do enjoy watching the Daily Show as well as The Colbert Report, it will be good to browse through this for some of the earlier clips.
