ive been trying 2 find sum classic pc games like doom 4 a while now but i cant find em. can i downlod em from id softwares websites etc. o any advice on where i can find these games?
First of all there is no doom 4 as of yet And you should use google to find games, as long as they are free of course. By the way, it wouldn't hurt to type properly...
Try these useful, english words: for. some. them. download. They work great when trying to translate your thoughts correctly.
I think he ment 4 as in for and why is everyone flaming him anyway you can get most of these old games for free off the devlopers site such as gta and gta2 and some others but if all else fails just look on ebay or the bargin bin at your local game shop they shouldn't be more than £1-4.
Because he didn't put any effort into ensuring that the post made sense. If he's not going to do that, then why should we help him?
we should help each other. we are here to share our knowledge if u won't help him today, tomorrow u wont be helped
if the origional thread starter cant be bothered to type in english, using the correct words ie for instead of 4 it would make more sence. if he cant bothered to type 2 more characters then why should we be bothered to help him??
Ah, the irony! I love this type of post. That's "can't be bothered". An extra two characters. Hell, while I'm at it: Sentences start with capital letters. "Original" is spelt as shown. "Can't" has an apostrophe. "English" also requires a capital letter, as a proper noun. But I'll let you off this time. As an abbreviation, "i.e." needs some full stops in it. "i.e. for instead of 4" should be separated by punctuation. (I recommend commas.) For small numbers, in written English, it is far better style to write "two" instead of "2". It's only an extra two characters. And finally, you only need the one question mark. And quite apart from the grammar, there is also a semantic error in the first sentence. "If the original thread starter can't be bothered to type in english, using the correct words, ie for instead of 4, it would make more sense." So it would make more sense if the thread starter were not to bother? I wholeheartedly agree that this poster needs to adjust their writing style, but perhaps you should clean your act up yourself first?
The bracketed part should be placed inside the sentence with the full stop outside the parentheses to keep them gramatically seperate: "i.e. for instead of 4" should be separated by punctuation (I recommend commas)." Alternatively, a semi-colon could be used: "i.e. for instead of 4" should be separated by punctuation; I recommend commas." I can't fault you but for that, though
He needs to sort his spelling and grammar out a bit, granted, but at least you know what he's on about, rather than the first post, which makes as much sense as a chocolate teapot.
Hey liquid_gen, for my classic gaming needs I go to the Home of the Underdogs. I can usually find any old gem that has been forgotten about. While it may not have exactly what you're looking for, it is a great spot to start. OT - I think the point has been made that his post was poorly written. Can we please go back to helping out with the original post?
thank you i know my spelling and gramma is bad, but you can understand what im trying to say. i failed English. but i dont write in text speak much, if i do its normally IIRC, LOL etc, i dont write like - cnt get a CD 4 me puter. i was just comenting to why we wouldnt help the origional thread starter.
