Work: double height at the bottom
Home: single height at the bottom, across both monitors.

Lappy: Like K; At the top with an lovely apple logo.

single bottom with no hiding may be how it comes out of the tin, but it's bloody damn inefficient.

so i have it bottom, autohide, 2.5x high, large icon quicklaunch top row, program buttons bottom, and ObjectDock across the top, also set to autohide.

OD is set to "always on top", centered, icons start at 24px and zoom to 192px on mouseover. blue background, set to 75% transparency. I used to use it on the left edge, but lately i like the top better. I also have the start menu applet in the dock, so i could totally hide the taskbar if i wanted to, but OD wont let you have taskbar and system tray in the dock at the same time. hopefully this will change soon.

On the right side, visible. Most of it is my quick launch icons.
