News AMD says no more support for Evesham

    Not really. Its like you are in an office and the guy in the next cubicle is your mate. One day he gets replaced, the new guy has the same job and uses the same equipment as the last guy. Are you automatically friends with him?

    Evesham is under new management and AMD aren't going to carry over the trust they had with the previous management just because the rest of the company is the same; the manufacturing and research dept etc wasn't the part that AMD were working with when they made those deals.

    I mean it's odd that they put a press release out stating it.

    Using your analogy, it's like being in an open plan office then putting a wall between you and your new next door neighbour.

    More like the guy next to you gets a new manager so you put up a partition, refuse to share pencils, pens etc. wont tell him what projects your working on and send an e-mail to the entire company stating these intentions

    Checking out that wikipedia entry it looks like they haven't improved their staff relations since I worked for them a few years ago. All the same I wish the new owners luck in their first stock check, they'll need it to find everything that's gone missing...
