Modding Assembly Technique Name?

    Does anyone know what's the name for this kind of assembly? I wanna build a small and simple acrylic ITX case with this method:

    It's called parallel planked shell modelling, or nageire(from the old french for swimming, as submersion was used to let the wood swell and improve the cohesion).

    Try googling "Lofting", that's what it's called by the boat builders ;)

    But doesn't a more "generic" term exist? For something like this for example:

    Edit: Cheapskate said it as a joke, but it seems it just called "slot and tab assembly" lol...
