Urg, I hate any jeans that sit higher than my hips. IMO they just dig into my sides and feel so rediculously uncomfy. For a long time I automatically bought size 10 jeans which just fall down on me (I have a pair which actually come straight off if I tug them!) so they have to sit further down.
If I wear my jeans as low as they can go then I can wear tshirts which cover my tummy but still leave a bit of a gap between my top and jeans showing the flat bit below my tummy :p
Because of the way I wear my jeans though I have a constant battle with my thong/string not to show which sucks :(

You are obviously one of the lucky girls that can pull it off - many in my opinion just look rough... if one hasn't got a nice belly there's no reason to put it on display, one should make the most of ones best features... and a belly hanging over a waste band does not an attractive site make.

    IMHO

Well said jimbo. We like to call it the custard cream effect where by the jeans are too tight and the top is too tight and the belly is squeezed out.

    Not pretty.

On a side note is it ok for blokes to show their boxers above their jeans?

    I totally agree.

I have always had a waist, when I was underweight & now that I'm overweight. As it was said before, hipsters are designed for boyish-figures which I definitely don't have. Waist high jeans are comfortable on me they never "dig in" as they are loose around my waist, but my hips stop them from falling down.

Back to the subject, I hate thongs anyway. I'd rather wear no underwear than have something resembling a cheese-wire somewhere so delicate :eeek:

So... er... are you weari.... never mind, I better not go any further. ;)

What I actually meant to say was, my gf agrees with you there. She hates thongs with a passion. Shame really.

I used to hate wearing thongs, then for some reason I started wearing them and hate normal pants
A backless thong sounds awful though, wouldn't go in for that at all!

Hex - I think my main problem is that I hate anything touching my tummy which counts fitted jeans. I don't have a boy figure though, got me some big girly hips and a waist but I think it looks ok.

    Overhanging tummies are just WRONG.

Do you have any knowledge of female anatomy or where zippers actually are on trousers?

IMO waistband is acceptable, but any more is too much and is worthy of ridicule.

Agreed. I'm really not getting the latest craze to wear trousers so low the boxers bag out at the back & look like they're full of poo. Looks very silly to me.
