I found a few dremels all decently priced and I wanted to know if they are crap or not. The last one is the most expensive and I am not sure I want to spend a whole lot on a dremel right now because I would rather buy a good one later. This is a temporary fix I just want to know if all or any of these are POS. http://store.yahoo.com/tylertool/drem275mulro.html http://store.yahoo.com/tylertool/drem750minco.html http://store.yahoo.com/tylertool/drem7772vcor.html
get one that actually plugs in. a small handheld extention that allows you to have the dremal out of the way is handy (forgot what its called) and haveing more than just 2 speeds to choose from is really handy. the one I have has at least 4 if not 5 different speeds I think.
the first one, other 2 arnt powerfull enough edit/ although i advise u find one that can be switched down to 15,000rpm if possible
Definitely go for a corded model. And as TheoGeo says, get one that can go to low RPM. The Dremel model 398 is a bit pricey, but a robust piece of kit that will take a battering and also can go from 33.000 rpm down to 5000 rpm in 1000 rpm steps.
