Hey, I know that a pair of headphones for less than 20 quid won't be the best, but I don't want to spend too much and it'll only be used with onboard sound anyway. I had a browse round but couldn't really find any that stood out at all, and was wondering what people would recommend. Cheers.
What style do you want? I've Sennheiser's PX100, (£17.48 at Amazon, a real bargain but I find earbuds more comfortable; been looking for a reasonable set at around the £20 mark (only for occasional portable MP3 so I'm not paying a lot).
I've used a pair of sens mx500 (or their older equivalent) for a while now sound great. http://www.richersounds.com/showproduct.php?cda=showproduct&pid=SENN-MX500 they are about half that on amazon btw.
I'm using some Technics RP-F350 and they are fantastic for a budget set. I paid £29.99 for mine from argos but i'm sure you could find them cheaper online.
For the money they're fine as they reflect the asking price. However, they do not compare to anything that will cost you £80 or more.
fyi rich lambos are nicer than fords.... (including the tractors!) in this price bracket id recomend sennheiser cx300 for ear canal jobs and goldring dr50 for proper cans which are really quite decent for the cash!
Sony MDR-X200, I use it and I like it very much. It's the best headphone I ever bought. I use it 18/7 and on max bass no distorsion, Also it's so confortanble.. It's amazing headphone really. I heared good things about sennheiser But I didn't try it or see it on real life At the end it's up to you your money, your ears, and your headphones.
2nd the PX100. I've also got a set of Sennheiser HD580's but for music on the go you can't beat the PX100 for price/sound/size. Just buy them, you won't regret it
Or Sony MDR-V150. Their actually pretty good for the cash. A bit of a muffled sound but still quite crisp and clear.
3rd PX100's lovely pair for that amount of cash. I use mine on the underground. At home i use Sony MDR v-300's.
