I was looking at past articles in bit-tech, and I was looking atsome of the mods done with Blue LED's. I have never done a mod before but I have already fallen in love with the little blue LED lights. I went to a bunch of mod sites, but I don't know how bright the blue LEDs on their sites are. I am looking for the BRIGTEST possible 3mm and 5mm blue LED lights. Can anyone tell me where to get them or point me in the right direction? please? any help is appreciated!

Try RS Components. A LED's brightness is measured in 'mcd' The higher the number the brighter the LED.

Tekheads and a few others stock them, but a little pricey considering you can pic them up from RS for less than £1.

maplin ship to the us? interesting. I've been trying to get some 3000mcd LEDs of the site, but they always claim to be out of stock. Koolvin, you haven't bought them all have you?

I settled for white leds which are cool though.
