You can get really large drill bits... that's the neatest way The rim around the switch will hide any rough edges though so you might get away with dremeling - I wouldn't like to do it though r.
Problen is that there's nothing to centre the drill on give the 156mm hole there already. Only way I can see is to grind it out. I don't even know if I have the dremel bits for to remove 0.333cmsq of metal twice.
what did that have to do with my origional post? unless it was for cutting holes in your case for buttons.

I think that'll only work on plastics and GRP. I've only ever seen one used on TV, and they used it to enlarge some holes in a plastic container.
Looks like it! If you've got a steel case, it should manage it (It's for sheet steel if you read the decription), and if you've got aluminum, you're laughing, as it's nice and soft to cut (I've cut holes in it with woodworking spadebits!)

I had a sealed connector one time that some ****wit ripped the wires out of. The manufacturer wanted 700$US to fix it. Standard fee. Every return is completly refurbed. Even if all I wanted was to fix a wire. I asked to speak to a tech. Techs are almost always helpful. He said to break it apart you need a special tool that is built by the connector maker. They only sell you one if you buy connectors from them and the tool is 300$US. I said, I'm not paying that. He told me what they use, and sent me the parts to make the breaking tool. All it was: The female portion of the connection soldered to a nut driver. Totally unrelated, I just trot that out when I hear "Special tools"
