Well, I've had a productive afternoon!

Also, the competition didn't say what state the mag had to be in...



Off to save the world (of broken computers)?

Like it. I did one on a much smaller scale but wouldn't dare post it!

 

Fortunately, I have no sprogs (and if I did, I wouldn't let them near my PC hardware!) but unfortunately, I think this means we're all playing for second place behind Komm (great pic btw!).

Instead, I shall try for sympathy with my proper entry. This morning, a tile fell off the roof right above where I was at the PC. To say it made me jump would be an understatement; as it slid down the roof it sounded like the end of the world!



Anyway, upon seeing the gap, I thought "Here we go! Stick an old copy of CPC in there as a temporary plug and compo entry." Kill two birds etc etc. So I grabbed an old copy (£260 7800GT LOL!) and headed for the ladder



Once 30 feet above the ground and unable to either get onto the roof or reach the gap from the top of the ladder, I glanced down at the concrete path/tarmac drive/car bonnet (tick plummet landing area as desired) and realised what a bloody stupid idea it had been to begin with so here's a picture of my dog instead.



Ah well, if I'm lucky I can at least sell my old gfx card to pay the roofer!

 

Hi, I.W.Spider here. Long time lurker, first time poster. Actually, lurking kind of goes with the territory for me. Anyway, here's my entry for your competition. I got the human in the house to take a snap of me and my spi-pad version of this month's mag (I'm at the top right, got a bit camera shy!).



Loving the digital version of the mag but not keen on this spi-pad though; it's only 2 point multi-touch which is a bit of waste for someone like me. I was reading Grumpy Gamer when we did the snap. Great article as always but I'm onto the masterclass now. It's perfect timing really cos I'm doing a new build shortly. Probably have to be Pico-ITX.

 

Ha, I have been rumbled! I admit I was not really caught looting custom PC the night of the London riots, your expert testimony will at least clear me at the magistrates!

I did not mean to cause a scandal, I agree (and also believed) that I should be out of contention. Better make a proper entry now (my vote is actually with Captain Custom above)...

I dont want to seem ungrateful but I will not be playing Rift as it is a subscription game at £8.99 a month and I dont think any game is worth that.
