Howdy Anyone know if this is an electrical fault I can fix or the LCD? The lines appear if the top is pressed a bit
Usually you cant repair them, what you probably will have to do is get a new dash cluster (or used) an fit it, be aware most need pairing to the new car due to the Canbus/BCM
Wheeler Dealers had a similar issue with an Audi TT dash (might've been LED though); they got a new panel re-soldered in but... what @legoman said.
Annoyed how vague I was, that LCD pops out and the whole cluster is tied to the security system but what's more annoying, seems fine now..... Hopefully selling car tonight, potential owner is aware and it will be their issue.
