Just talking to Roto on MSN and to my horror find out he has NEVER had an immunisation, yet im sitting here with 3 puncture holes in my body :(
Dunno how each country works with their wierd/wonderful health systems and parents/religious feelings etc like the MMR in the UK.

Erm. For certain things when I was a baby, but nothing lately. I got a Hepatitis B vaccine a few years back IIRC and most universities require you to get vaccines for some things I believe.

You can't attend any school system without immunizations in NY State. Not sure if that's nationwide, but I think it is...

*scar? A TB jab scared you? :p

Anyway, afaik, I've been fully immunized. Don't the schools still bug you about that? Like, don't let you register or sommat if they don't have your immunization records on file?

I've got a lovely BCG scar on my left arm. It took almost 2 months to heal!

I think my immunisations are all up date, I probably need a couple of boosters for things though.

When I went back it college in 1996, I was required to get another Hep-b shot because they laws had changed since I graduated high-school in '86.

It all depends on need, I guess. In the Dutch Carribean until about the 1950s nobody was immunised against Mumps, Measles or Polio because it simply was not endemic on the islands. Then some Dutch immigrants introduced Polio and everyone had to line up at the local hospital...

I can't remember the last jab I had, it must have been at primary school (if that) - I probably should have had some more somewhere along the line but I'm not the sort of person to stop into the doctor's surgery every 6 weeks and go "any injections going this month?" :p

Yup, just had another tetnis booster the other month. They aren't optional but I know people who have missed them being on holiday and not gone to the doctors for them.

Yep, my college requires tons of immunizations. They even wanted chickenpox for which I had to get blood taken to prove I already immune. I just got my tetanus booster which was several years overdue. I really should have been up on that since my work involves getting cut by dirty pieces of metal daily.
