News Fifteen-year Windows kernel bug patched at last

    But... wonder how far back this ACTUALLY goes. They said it's on "all supported versions" which is blatantly true, and they tested it as far back as XP...
    But they also say it's on "all versions" of Windows... which is almost certainly false as the vulnerability is in win32 so it can't ACTUALLY hit 16-bit Windows.
    Where did it actually start? 2K? 95? NT4? I would assume it started with NT, but... has this code been laying there unaudited and unaltered since the days of yore, the last untouched remnants of Windows for Workgroups?

    They must disclose this exploit in full, FOR SCIENCE!
