Anyone else find it ironic that the cost of high-end hardware is rising but the amount of games that actually take advantage of it is falling?

you know, i would say 177MB/s is still more than enough for almost any hard drive, which makes them still worth using.

Yes, but that speed will limit faster SSDs, which is a consideration for this board given its high price.

The 980x doesnt works in this board , only if you update the Bios , like almost every motherboard , the guy next to me in Campus Europe had one and it didnt worked , and if it limits the Ssd´s that´s a problem because i got 4 of them LOL

Every motherboard should be less expensive , and have more usefull features , some arent even used...

why on earth would you have SSD's attached to the 9th and 10th sata ports?

While this might seem unimportant considering the price of the board having a second S-ATA chip allows one to run the two slow Gigabyte slots in IDE mode and the rest in AHCI mode. This way you can connect that one DVD drive that won't work in AHCI, and there always is one.

I'm seeing Asus Rampage III Extreme on the graphs but couldn't find the review on the site. Is it already posted or you just included the results?

We've got several new X58 reviews coming over the next little while - the Rampage III Extreme being one of them.

too expensive and doesn't out perform the cheaper GA-X58A-UD3R.
What a glorified Server board that I wouldn't buy to run a server.
